Yesterday was my first Valentines Day spent with the boyfriend! For the past two years, he would be in Melbourne while I spend V Day here alone and end the night with a skype call. Nothing beats spending it in person with him. It was a quiet and simple day spent with him. To me Valentines don't need gifts or surprises or big plans, all it needs is the person you love with you.
So, how was my V Day?
Started by taking the boyfriend to the bank and the post office to renew his license. Then was KFC for lunch! Both of us have been craving for it ever since we got back. We are the kind of people who craves for fast food HEHE!
Obviously KFC cannot be complete without cheesy wedges! Seriously it was soooooo good!
After lunch we went over to the bf's friend, CX place for CNY gambling session. His friend asked, "Shereena, what happened to your valentines?" HAHA! We ended up playing mahjong, rummy, casino blackjack and normal blackjack. The boyfriend has a very funny bunch of friends when they gamble. So much fun (:
Then we came back home and rested awhile before heading out to Puchong for dinner. We initially wanted to have Italian Cone Pizza at IOI Boulevard but we only found out they closed it. It is no longer there =/ It was where we spent New Years Day two years ago.. )):
So... we ended up settling with Kissaten.
Salmon Sashimi! Now I've trained the boyfriend to like sashimi already. Before this he was never a raw fish person, but now he would eat together gather with me :D
Dinner was the boyfriend's treat! <3<3 We ate so much ok... Considering it is just the two of us. HEHE I always enjoy my meals with him no matter what we eat or where we eat (:
Ended our night by sending him over to his friend's place for another gambling session and I headed home and went out yumcha with my family.
I would say, my V Day was pretty good (: Thanks to the boyfriend! <3
Here comes the cheesy part..
We've known each other for 5 years, been together for almost 2 years and damn, things are at a really really great place now. I don't regret the choice I made into following my guts to take the leap of faith with you. In fact, I am more than glad and thankful that it happened the way it happened. Nothing felt more real and more honest than being with you. No one has ever made me feel the way you make me feel. We've been through things together for almost two years now and to be honest, it didn't feel like two years at all. Which is something good in my book because everyday seems so exciting and new and never boring and old. You make me feel on top of the world, always. And I have never been happier with anybody in my life. I thank you for everything you've given me and for understanding me in so many levels.
I love you with all my heart, Ching Teck Wei. Always will. There will always be a place in my heart that marks your name, always. ♥♥ Bii, thank you <3
Lots of love,
Shereena.
I can't believe I forgot my cammie when we went out for dinner! And yes... No pictures with the boyfriend because he is the camera shy kinda person. But...., I am still very happy! Of course I would have loved it even more if I was able to spend the days and the nights with him but neh... not quite possible. In Melbourne, maybe (: wheeeeeeeee I love my boyfie! ♥
