  1. lovely dinner!

    totally totally enjoyed yesterday night's dinner and company. we should really do this more often. i'll try to make the effort when i get back to malaysia and have nice dinner plus dress ups with the besties.

    before talking about dinner, i shall start with lunch (:

    went to clayton town with teck wei for lunch and also to go buy groceries. lunch was at Dapur Indo mentioned in my second last post, tainted love. 

    both of us shared the gado gado.

    he had the mix rice plate.

    i had their nasi goreng kambing ((:

    lunch was so so filling. i had to tapao back my nasi goreng cause i can't fit anymore in already. haha! then we went to get the groceries and all that. the day was so miserable. kept on raining and raining. carried bags of food whilst walking in the drizzling rain is no fun ):

    went back to MA rested awhile then i got ready to go out for dinner. which i was running abit late to catch the bus cause i wasn't done with my make up... i am a super amateur when it comes to putting make up on. and i take an awfully long time to make sure their perfect. not perfect, i'll rub them off and reapply. especially those corner ticks of eyeliner...

    but still managed to catch the right bus to catch the right train.

    me, yesterday.

    met up with audrey and loong at flinders. the rest were running a little late so we went over first.

    dinner was at The Deck on Southbank in southgate avenue.

    free flow of bread and butter (:

    our kitchen selection to share for 4pax. $36 there was duck lover parfait, zucchini fritters, fried bread, prawns, some i don't know sauce and some duck thingy in that bowl. and they were all really nice! considering i don't eat liver, that duck parfait was good! everything was good! =DD

    yao yun's duck sausage, lentils and hazelnut hollandaise for entree. $17

    my baked dory with autumn cabbage and clams. niceeeee! the fish was seasoned beautifully ((: $34

    audrey had the lamb rump, jerusalem artichoke, braised radicchio with mint. elvin had the same one as well. $34

    loong had the crab and zucchini risotto. $30

    teck wei and yao yun an wei ping had the special for the night. lamb tenderloins with jerusalem artichoke, lentils and roasted mushrooms. $34

    celine and wei bing had the duck breast with sweet carrot, fennel and charred baby onion salad. $34

    there wasn't a very wide selection but all of us ordered everything on their mains list. haha i didn't remember what all the mains came with so its copied off their menu on their website. hehehe! but all of the food was really good! so nice!

    the girls for the night! hopefully we'll have a girls night next friday too! all of us looked really really good yesterday too!

    as i said i really loved my outfit for the night. hehehehe =P

    i used to not like lace cause i had this thought in my mind that it itchy. but now i so love lacey dresses! HAHA

    hahaha and so happy that our dressing up dinner went really well too! the food was great! company was great! and all of us looked fabulous! hahaha!

    our total bill came to $365.50. over 1k plus ringgit. HAHA!

    left straight after dinner and went to meet up with cherly to head back to clayton together. 

    but on the way to melbourne central,

    i made a pit stop to get froyo! heheeh i super love cacao green! hahaha

    was back in MA around 12am. but i so thoroughly enjoyed yesterday night =D

    today,

    woke up about 3pm. straight went to cook lunch.

    tom yum soup, green curry and rice and my leftover fried rice. hehe both the tom yum and green curry have the same ingredients. fish cake, chicken, green beans and carrot. hehe

    then just sorta lazed around for a while. catching up with shows and work. then it was time for dinner.

    cooked curry chicken and had it with rice (:

    now i am happily sipping my strawberry and apple juice while typing this. dear is busy with his report. i'll keep myself busy till he is done then we will be watching mission impossible in bed =D

  2. helllooooo! been here in MA in clayton since yesterday.

    yesterday night i was too tired to even switch on my mac and blog cause i had very little sleep the night before rushing through a lab report. which was wednesday night...

    i still managed to go out for dinner with aunty D and her friends tho that night. haha and only rushed my work after i got back at like 11 something at night. slept for 4 hours then went to class and got to clayton yesterday.

    anyways.... my wednesday night dinner ((:

    went to the pascoe vale hotel for dinner.

    cause apparently they had this lobster deal.

    it was so so only lar... don't fancy this lobster that much. i remembered lobster being very nice when i had it was back in victoria station but this wasn't as nice as i remembered lobster to be..


    but this seafood platter quite nice. it was suppose to be $28 but aunty D's friend printed out a voucher that gives $8 off main meal. so its only $20 ((: this was to share among for of us cause we all had the lobster.

    this place was having trivia night on wednesdays. the place was pretty full and we were trying to answer the questions asked eventho we didn't join. haha quite fun!

    after dinner, we went to aunty D's friends place in craigieburn for a chat and coffee and pizza! cause this ladys husband is italian and he is a chef. so he brought back pizza that he made from work. so so niceeee! tho it plain and simple and cold but it was really nice..

    my outfit for the day ((:

    military boots: $40 genuine leather from williams (which was a major steal!)
    rings: all from lovisa for under $5

    yesterday, thursday,

    went to uni at 830 in the morning. class was straight up till 530pm without any break.... )): but still managed to squeeze in a light snack for lunch.

    watch: guess
    fringe moccasin boots: taiwan for RM40!

    once i got to dear's, i was so hungry that i started munching on everything cause it was still early for dinner. i had two oreo wafer sticks, two slices of kraft singles and a half packet of rrd chips. hehe

    and i cooked mee hoon for dinner =D

    i love my mee hoon! so yumssss! dear loves my mee hoon too =P

    slept at 11pm last night and woke up at 11am today.

    i know... damn pig right.. i had my slept debts lar okay... hehe... dear was at uni when i woke up, so i just stayed in bed watching the voice australia. i quite like it eventho it doesn't have adam levine in it... HAHA but the voice australia has some pretty good judges too.

    Seal, Joel Madden, Delta Goodrem and Keith Urban. they are seriously down to earth nice people. like seriously... so talented and so nice ((: haha

    then dear came back with boneless fried chicken for me for lunch =DD wheeee! awesome!


    these were taken randomly when i was having an evening nap. i was trying out Leme Cam. haha

    i know i know... i slept so so much! HEHE

    and about 7 something the both of us walked out to maccas for din din. it was like so cold outside.... but i like! tho the wind hurts my ears, i still love the cold!

    our dinner tonight. i had two burgers, he had three. and one small fries each. all of this for $24 hahah!

    after finishing up this post, i am gonna catch up on my daily series. vampire diaries and greys anatomy =DD and prolly watch nasi lemak 2.0 in bed. hehe

    i hate how my facebook is flooding with bersih all over. its done and already happened. no point talking about it all over again and bringing up all the bad from it. its annoying having people posting up constant things about it. and go all rage-y on it. its pointless right now.

    went for The Avengers with teck wei, khai shien and yao yun on sunday. it was at chaddy. had yao yun came all the way from the city but i know she'll do anything for the avengers ((: hahaha

    wanted to go for the early session at 130pm but it was like so full. second row from the screen. my first time ever that a movie i went to in melbourne that it was even near half filled. hahah! so yeah we ended up settling down to the 3pm session.

    after getting the tickets, was finding food time. lunchhhhh. we were starving by then!

    bought the KFC box. zinger burger with wicked wings. and the other extra sides. i was craving for wicked wings that's why ended up with this box. cause wicked wings by itself will never be enough. haha

    avengers time!

    it was goooooood!! so many eye candies plus the movie was good! but i missed out the after credits cause we were in a hurry to go and get grocery done and then head back to MA. dear was kinda in a hurry to head home for something. and i also missed out on buying ben and jerrys ice cream!! )))):

    left chaddy and parted ways with yao yun at about 6pm.

    then went out dinner along with dear, cherly, jia shen and ck in clayton town. apparently there was this good indonesian place and we went there to check it out (:

    dapur indo.

    my ayam penyet.

    dear's ayam kremes.

    jia shen's daging nasi goreng.

    cherly's gado gado.

    their peanut sauce so nice!! been nibbling off cherly's gado gado keropok with the peanut sauce. so yums! reminds me of the peanut sauce they served as entree with keropok at the thai place in central market, ginger or something. when i went with yao yun and en lin during our internships.

    the food was good overall. especially jia shen's fried rice. before even leaving the shop, i told dear that we will come back again for their fried rice because i didn't have it all to myself. hahaha! will definitely be back!

    left MA on monday. i'll always make the parting moments with dear very melodramatic. sometimes for the fun of it. sometimes i really mean it. but in this case, it was for the fun of it. i'll be seeing him on friday anyways. haha

    the moment when he handed the key in my hands, was the best feeling ever. even he could tell how silly i smiled like when i had it in my hands. happy mar... ♥♥
