today is a date worth marking on the calendar. a date that secured its place in my memory. my girlfriend's birthday.

a girl i've met in "kelab reka cipta" in form one that i spilled out my crush to and she told him. HAHA. good friend huh? (:


form 2 she was in the same class with steph and michelle and i've hear so much of her funny stories. i actually witnessed one of it. she jump with one leg from the bengkel right till the class cause they took her shoes and she was wearing a coloured pair of socks.

form 3 we were in the same class and she sits in front of me. at that time she was soooo good at pinching people until the guys are actually afraid of her expecially kai kai. she even ran till the back of the class trying to say hi to steph i think? but instead while running she suddenly fall flat on her butt.

it was damn funny. and there is this saying that from one end of the corridor till the other, you can definetely hear her.


form 4 i ended up with the same class with her again. but this is the year we got close. the conversation between us started when i got busy body over how many guys she has rejected. to my suprise, really damn alot of people. the chat took up 2 periods of bio.


sat beside her in class in front of walter and kai kai. we ate in class, played cards when they were having some important people in school and we ended up doing kerja amal. which was to clean the dewan bitara.

damn funny la that time. played with the mop. watered the plants with dirty water.



ever since that year, we became wayyy closer until today we still are the best of friends. went to college together. was with her during one of her first few driving attempts. seriously scaryyyyy!


college brought us even closer together. and now i love her to bits.


too bad this year i am here and that i couldnt be apart of the suprise team and see her tear in joy and shock like last year.


but well i know she had lots of fun and once again,


i miss having her around. going out together. catching movies. yumcha sessions. shopping. her insulting me with the rest. and i insulting her with the rest.

uni starts at 10.30 am tomorrow but i have to wake up at 8.30 am. thats earlyyyyy. lets hope it wouldnt be soooo boring. i expect boring but not too boring.

woke up at 8.30 am. and was dead tired. i slept at like 1.30 am or something. i dont seem to get all the sleep i want over here.

got ready and was in time for the 9.30 am bus to essendon station and then took the train down all the way to uni.

i had to go and ask about my timetabling stuff. its set now. i am only taking three subjects and will take one during summer which will start on the 4th of january 2010.


i only have one hour class on thursdays and thats it for the whole day. i will spend 50 minutes going to uni and go for one hour class then spend another 50 minutes coming back. great...


damn clean man. and its free of charge. good eh? went to 90 collins' westpac after that to get my atm card and realise it looks more like a credit card. ahah! it acts as a debit card also.

then went to QV's three store to unlock my phone and claim back my $50 then took the 86 tram from bourke street to smith street.


was at smith street for quite some time. as usual, i shopped. my favourite sports brand, Nike. (: spent $70. but i know it was all worth the price. really...

i love to eat raw salmon sushi handroll now. you know the one you can get at any sushi bar over here for $2.30? i am addicted to it. i had two today eventhough i was so full from lunch.

walked over to federation square to find out some stuff over the departure to mount buller since mum, cousins and uncle are going next week.

and they are going without me cause i have classes. how sadd. ):


i hardly go on trips with "the cousin" i have here. and now he agreed going to mount buller and i am not going. thats really saddd. ):

seee i told you i feel more like i am on a holiday than coming over here to study.

i am so addicted to Bones now. the show is interesting. seriously damn interesting. and also.... the main actor is hot! ahahaha! i finally got to my point.


how could a man be 40 and yet have a body like that? i mean still keep in that good shape? plus i really love his FBI agent character in the movie. a federal agent is somehow hot! agent seeley booth. hawt.

hot guys apparently only appear on screens. sad case.

my cousin is coming over with a friend tomorrow from malaysia. and will be bringing the remaning things that i left in malaysia.

i am looking forward to seeing him. havent been seeing him since he left for india in june. cant wait! (:

anyway, happy birthday to WALTER AARON!! i am so thankful to have a friend like him around. he is just a great friend. always helped me in anything at all. (:

slept quite late this morning. went to bed around 2.30 am. i was trying to make myself really sleepy instead of tossing and turning around on the bed and having my mind wander.

woke up around 11 pm and got ready then left to ikea on victoria street at richmond.

in there, it gives me the feel that i am walking in the ikea in ikano power centre. except that there were more white people in the surrounding.

bought some stuff. and when it comes to shopping at ikea, how can i not go and eat the swedish meatballs? the first time i had it was when i went to curve for my nike training and ever since then, i absolutely love them!



after ikea, we headed over to bridge road. since my aunt took the day off to take us around, we might as well go to places she hasnt been for some time and that they have cheaper shopping places at the area.


quite a number of factory outlets at the area. seriously if you earn aussie dollar, everything is cheap and affordable. seriously. but for me i aint working and earning their currency, so i have to times 2.9. expensive laaaaa~

bought some stuff too. :D so this is what i got today.

going window shopping sure did destress me. the stress starts back tomorrow. i have to go back to uni and settle the things on my subjects. i guess worse come to the worse i'll do the summer course since i woudnt be going back to malaysia anyway.

i find that there is an achievement in me now. i am getting better with dogs. ahaha! i am having a jack russell walking around the house everyday. watching me eat thinking that she'll get a share. running around with the ball and puts it infront of me and expects me to kick it. i guess i am starting to not be so hopeless.

i used to be scared of puppies! puppies can you imagine? HAHA.

its getting really windy these days. and at night it sounds really scary. the wind blowing the trees and it starts hitting walls and it sounds creepy.

oklaaaa... sleeping soon. tomorrow have to wake up early and go to uni. hopefully things get settled quick. i need to go to 90 collins' westpac branch to get my atm card, QV's three branch to get my $50 deposit then if i have time, i'll go smith street to shop. :D

i am just not in that mood to blog about today.

lets hope tomorrow is a better day. i sure hope it is. i am going ikea to get some stuff and some window shopping at bridge road. and go leather boots scouting.

i have so much in mind that i dont know who i can tell to or how am i going to say it or is it that big of a problem.

life is never easy. everything has a price tag labeled on it.

orientation started at 9.30 am again today at a lecture theatre in the engineering building. it was with the whole others who takes Information and Communication Technologies related subjects.

occupied around 40 students. all international students. met a couple of new people. xiao tian which is a singaporean but lives in penang. jensen from kuantan. david from china. krunath from india i guess? long from vietnam. i was asking for his name and he said "Long, not short!" i couldnt even get it.

went to the library, the lab then went for lunch break. i went lunch break with xiao tian at one of the cafe on campus.


then went to a room to meet up with my course coordinator. i am the only international student present today for Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications and Network. i was the only one!

imagine the one on one talking. stress betul.

enrolled and everything then went to get my student id. after things were all done i called jia shen. cause initially i told him i couldnt make it to go out with him cause orientation is expected to finish at 5 pm.

but i finished at 2 pm so i thought we could still meet up. and we did.

met up at southern cross station then went DFO together cause he wants to buy a pair of jeans. he ended up buying a pair of levi's.

i want a new pair of levi's too! ahahaha!

after some shopping we went for late lunch at hungry jack's then we left for home. i took the train then the bus and reached home around 5 pm.

i realised something. cute white guys are only those in uniforms. as in school uniforms. uni, i havent seen one at all. saddd laaa. i cant keep my eyes occupied. hahaha.

luckily i came back earlier. it started pouring after that.

did my timetable allocations. i am getting a headache. and stressing out. i have classes everyday and some days i start at 9.30 am and finishes at 5.30 pm. and also some i have 3 hours break in between classes. what i am going to do during those hours laaaa?

have to go back to uni tomorrow to ask on why i have two automatically allocated subjects that clashes. sigh.

woke up at 6.45 am. damn early man. which is only 4.45 am in malaysia. at that time i am still lying on my couch either watching series or skyping with ferns or jia shen.

reached hawthorn town around 8.30 am. sat at the cafe beside the town hall for some breakfast and went into the town hall at 9.10 am.


the orientation was boring. first, no hot guys! seriously zero. soooooo many indians. indians from india. i've never seen so many in one place before. third, i made no friends.

it was bad. lets hope the session tomorrow is better cause it will be narrowed down to meeting people in the same faculty.





finished my session for today around 11 something and left back to the city. stopped at melbourne central and went for lunch.

walked up collins street to the bank to ask about my atm card. and i had no other things to do anymore so decided to leave for home.

while waiting for the train at melbourne central, there was this loud hit coming from the escalator. a kid fell on it. and the escalator is soo long plus the hit was really loud.

he had quite a deep cut on his forehead. but anyway it was his fault and made quite a scene around the area. the boy is like what 9 or 10 years old?

stopped at moonee ponds and took a bus home.

i slept from 4 up to 7.30. tired laaaaa.. had dinner, watched tv for a while then came online. talking to friends back home, i really miss them.

i really feel as though i am on a vacation rather than that i'll be here for a long long time. and if uni is really as it is today, how am i going to survive 4 years?

i miss my friends. luckily i still have one close friend here, jia shen.

should be meeting him tomorrow at southern cross after my orientation. he wants to get a pair of jeans for his sexy legs. ahahahah!

anyway, today is my dear loy's birthday!!

too bad i am not there to give her a birthday hug and celebrate with her. but i know that she knows i always love her.

known her since form 1. that time she had that nerd look. hair all tied back. long hair with pinafore. not girlish. pinafore is the only skirt i see her in.

form 3 she had a relationship that was sooo cute. he buys her sweets during recess. they hold hands and sit at the lobby after taekwando while waiting for the rain to stop.


taekwando times were the fun moments.






she had always been one of the close friends in my life. especially in this recent months, we've drawn closer. going out late at night. she joining us in our yam cha sessions. going to bangsar for a drink. going on trips with us.




i miss her.

went down to the city earlier in the morning to go to the flea market at southbank. i think the stalls are open every sunday along the arts centre?



i saw this nice pair of earring which cost $12. but but i didnt get it. now i am regretting. its a pair of doves and its blue coated.


walked down to crowns then walk back up to southgate for lunch. i had wraps. it really damn filling. and carrying a water bottle around saves me quite alot. a bottle of drink would cost at least $3. with the exchange rate now, it should be RM9.


bought a packet of sweets. i always love this sweets. its cute and nice and seriously cute. (: they are little drawings in the middle of the sweet. :D

left southbank and walked to the start of elizabeth street and took the tram down to victoria market.

was just browsing through the stalls. keeping an eye on some leather boots and now i am in love with a leather jacket. they look damn hot! seriously. but its expensive. ):

bumped into a familiar face at the market. someone that took sam but clearly dont know me.

there wasnt much to do anymore at vic market so we left to melbourne central. walked over there from vic market.

you see, people here walk alot. well at least i know i did.

my main purpose was to get to billabong in melbourne central cause i wanted to buy a wallet. was looking through it yesterday while waiting for jia shen to reach.

in the end i bought one. cost me $30. but well.. i am not planning to convert that. and if its in this case, maybe i shouldnt convert the pair of flip flops also. then i might buy it. hmmm....

since today is a sunday, there are no bus services that drops us right in front of the house. well not really right infront but less than a minute to reach the house.

for the first time, i walked up the hill from the train station to get home. tiring. ): i hardly catch my breath. this shows how unfit i am.

came home, slept for a bit, watched dancing with the star australia, ate dinner, watched two episodes of bones, bath and now sitting on my bed while everyone else is asleep but the cousin isnt back yet and writing this. oh and having weird sarcastic chat with jia shen. i mean had not having.


tomorrow i have to wake up at 6.45 am cause orientation is at 9.30 am but mum says its better to be there earlier. i mean come on 6.45 am? if i was back in malaysia, i am not even in bed yet. sigh. ):

lets hope the orientation isnt so bad.

woke up at 8 something in the morning today cause had to follow my mum, uncle and aunty to footscray market to get groceries.

footscray is more like a vietnamese area. most asian things can be found there.


had to be there early to get carparks if not have to walk very far for it.


back in malaysia, i dont get up early and go to the market to get groceries. maybe this waking up early to the market thing will only last for a while. i bet i wont go again. hahah!

aunt drop me in the city since i was meeting jia shen at 12 pm in mebourne central. i was there early. i was already there at 11 am. then jia shen called saying that he'll be late cause his bro want to tag along.

i practically walk around melbourne central like some lost soul. i was alone and had absolutely no idea on where to go.

went into almost every shop. just doing some window shopping till jia shen reached.

they brought me to a sort of chinese restaurant near chinatown or was it in chinatown? hmmm.. the food was not bad. but i didnt finish the rice though. its abit too much.

jia shen's bro, jia wei treated me lunch. i feel weird that he is paying and i also felt weird trying to give him back money when he didnt want to take. haha.

hopped into the 86 tram and went to smith street. i was looking for a pair of flip flops which in malaysia it costs RM150. ridiculously expensive. but here its about $30? hmmm...

went in some factory outlets and it was raining for abit then we left back to the city.

jia wei had something to do in the bank so we split up. jia shen and me headed to st kilda beach. at this sort of weather, going to the beach would be even better. (:


went to see some penguins in between the rocks which we only spotted one. penguins are really adorable creatures. walked, talked, got insulted as usual, he smoked and it was already almost 4 pm.

was finding for the fish and chips restaurant and finally found it. shared it together. and the stupid jia shen accidentally made it soooooo salty. he has this thing for salty stuff. but it was really too salty by accident.

hopped back on the tram and headed back to the city.

stopped at flinders street station. the train i am taking wouldnt be ariving in another 20 mins since i just missed one so we sat there and chit chatted somemore. sometimes i guess its actually kinda easy to tell him things. i wonder why....

he sat in the same train with me till melbourne central and he left and i headed back home.

stopped at moonee ponds since i was early and the bus i am suppose to take was at 6 pm, so i thought of just walking through the street so that i could kill some time. my only company was my songs on my phone.



it was cold and i was alone and it was getting dark. this is going to get more often for me when uni starts.

i took the last bus home. and there was only 2 people on the whole entire bus. it was sooo quiet when its only 6 something.

reached home almost 6.30.

mum bought me the earring stand from high point and its blueeee!! (:



yes i know i have alot of accessories. cant blame me. i am girl and i loveeee earrings. i still remember when i was emo in genting last year, shopping for earrings made me happy. it was weird yet fun. :D

i am tired already. today was a good hang out with jia shen. (:
