Hey ya'll :D

I am done with two seasons of Suits. Patiently waiting for the upcoming season which will only be aired in July.. I hate to wait for new seasons. Especially that I am up to date with all the series I've been up to, it just doesn't feel as fun anymore to not being able to watch episodes back to back because you've already watched it all. It sucks. And it leaves me more time to do other stuffs.. What stuffs..? I'll figure that out soon enough :P

So, the past weekend was boring. All I did was watching Suits, eating and sleeping more than half of the time. Yes, I do think I sleep too much but I couldn't help it. Especially now with the article speculating around about how women needs to sleep more. The boyfriend has been complaining about my sleeping pattern and now, maybe I could use this article printed in the newspaper on him :D

Okay let's rewind back to Friday,

Since fernie was gonna leave back to Malaysia on Friday night, meeting him up for food is a must. And since I've already took him to brunch(altho it wasn't really brunch because it didn't involve any eggs, I still would like to call it brunch), to American/Aussie styled burger, we had Mexican food once, Korean the other day, had Rose Garden sometime back, for bagels, middle-eastern styled kebab platters and this time I suggested Spanish (:

Plans were made between me, cherly and fernie. After all I do not have classes on fridays and I haven't had paella in a long while. And it worked out perfectly. Met up with the both of them at South Melbourne Market as Simply Spanish is located on the Cecil St side of the market.


Sat there chit chatted and then had a spontaneous idea to go for dessert or I would say, cakes. And Chez Dre is just nearby plus they serve good cakes and fernie hasn't been so of course we went there :D



Parted ways with fernie at south melbourne... ): Since he stays nearby and he has to go back and pack for his trip back home. It was nice having a friendly visitor from home (: And I do hope he enjoyed his trip! And of course my.. I mean OUR company :D

Then went over to spencer street's fashion shops to just see see look look with cherly. Most of the shops there have already closed down. And before, one of the reasons why I always go there is because there was a Forever New clearance store. But now, it's goneeeeee... ): No more getting cheap cheaaaap bargains from there anymore. Sho sadd ):

After walking for an hour, we left back for home. Well cherly left back for home and I went over to the boyfriend's :D

And the rest of the night was just staying in with the bf, cooked tom yum yee mee for dinner while watching the latest runningman episode for the week (:

Saturday we went out for lunch and grocery shopping and the rest of the day was just me sleeping and us ordering 3 pizzas for dinner.

Sunday I was suppose to head home but the weather wasn't promising so I stayed another night. And for dinner, I oven baked some chicken wings and we had leftover pizzas as well.


Uni for the next three days including today was just normal. Apart from me enjoying Italian more, nothing exciting happened or anything worth documenting.

A bowl of cold brown rice - leftover from the night before
Two slices of smoked ocean trout
One roma tomato
A handful of baby rocket leaves
A can of salmon in lemon and cracked pepper dressing
Season to taste with salt and pepper

Just toss everything together and voila! Healthy and super tasty lunch! :D I don't normally do healthy food because honestly I eat very unhealthily and never gives a crap about maintaining healthy lifestyle bla bla bla.. but.. this tasted good. And for me, food consumed has to taste good!

Tomorrow, back to uni. Good thing about it, it is the last day for the week ((: And then heading over to the bf's and the cycle repeats itself again. One week just passes by so quickly. Before I even felt like I did anything productive, the week has already ended. Hmmm...

Ok.. off to preparing for a lab tomorrow while skyping with the bf. Tho I'll be seeing him in a day, there isn't such thing as "I have talked to him enough" :P

Hey! I iz back for an update on how the week went (: Fairly enjoyable I would say. Had some great company, good food, made some new friends and I am enjoying my italian class. Learning a new language is rather fun! Altho the italian grammar is tricky, I quite enjoy the fact that this new language is starting to sink into me (:

The weekends.. :D

Saturday night, we had dinner plans with audrey and wei ping. We as in both the boyfriend and me. Went for some pretty awesome Korean BBQ dinner but the not so nice part was the heat. It was already high 30s outside and inside the restaurant was equally as bad. Thanks to all the grilling and heating and stuff. At least the awesome food made is somewhat worth it! (: It was nice catching up with the girls! After not seeing them for like two months. But... I am really sad that wei ping is leaving.. ): So not fun.. ):

After dinner, we parted ways and headed for a little bubble tea session with wei nian and tek yit. On such a hot night, cold drinks turned to room temperature in a snap. Everything feels sticky and stale. Just totally not my kind of weather. But at least the bf had a nice conversation with nian and the little get together was nice (:

Sunday,

Had brunch plans with the bf's high schoolmate and her boyfriend. Had never met her prior to that morning so it was more about meeting someone new and someone whom you're comfortable talking to altho it is just the first day that you've met them :D And knowing a friend from the bf's life makes me feel good in some way because it feels like I am interacting into his life and getting to know his friends is supposedly good and healthy? HAHA!

So yeapp.. we headed down to the city from monash bus loop to seven seeds. His friend fancies coffee and well... Seven Seeds is voted the best coffee place in Melbourne last year I think? So why not head to the best there is right? (:


We sat there chit chatting for quite sometime and the topics went from food to each others lives and stuff. It is always nice to hear about people's experiences and different views of different field of study and how it pens out that makes one's life work out the way they do.

After brunch, we headed over to the Moomba festival which was a total pain on the skin. It was so SO HOT! I hated the heat so much last weekend. I was literally in "pull hair moments" almost every second of the time. It was just so so bad! Therefore Moomba was nothing but heat and heat and dust everywhere. I didn't enjoy any of it..

Then, we took a train to Glenferrie where my uni is cause Joe Jin wanted to have a look at the crumpler sale that was located nearby my uni, on glenferrie road. Spent sometime lingering around the place and then decided to head back to clayton after that.

But since the heat was so bad, going back to the boyfriend's place would be a totally bad idea because his room is just simply almost unbearable in summer heat. So... the both of us decided to go and catch and movie and stay indoors with air conditioning.

And so, we took a bus to glen waverley and went for Oz The Great and The Powerful. Paid $15.50 just to escape the heat and hoping for a good movie BUT the movie was a total letdown!! Like so so so bad!!! Nothing nice about it.. All the nice part was already in the trailer and it was a waste of money... ): Felt so sad and cheated after the movie so I decided to give ourselves a treat!


Monday, back to uni for classes. But because that night itself we were having a S9 gathering, I decided to extend my stay at the bf's so that I could have the night till late with them. As khai shien was leaving soon (or I would say.. left already), we decided to have a last gathering with him in Melbourne.


Soon we will be losing another member. Khai shien left on wednesday and wei ping is leaving by the end of april.. ): Feeling sad that we are slowly decreasing our numbers. In fact, I am slowly decreasing my number of friends here in Melbourne.. ))):

Tuesday, went to uni for one class and then met up with ferns and teck wei for lunch. I promised ferns to take him to eat good burgers and so.. I took him to Huxtaburger. It is either Andrews Burger or huxta but since it was also a hot hot day, going for andrews burger would be a pain because they don't have any seating in the shop which means you gotta take away and eat it on a bench nearby or something. Which is totally not for hot days.. so yeap Huxtaburger it was then.


After lunch was to the Australian Immigration department cause the bf needed to settle some of his visa stuff and the three of us ended up waiting for the turn for almost two hours... We sat there and literally did nothing. By the time we were done it was close to 5pm. And had no intentions on going for dinner anytime soon so we parted ways and headed home.

I was suppose to head home to aunty D's but I postponed it for another day and went back to clayton with the boyfie. Dinner ended up to be Nando's. A whole chicken and one large side for the both of us (:

Wednesday/Yesterday, went for uni and had a three hour break soo.. I got the bf to come over to uni and have lunch with me. We had never done this lunch break thing before because last time, he would be busy in classes in clayton and it was never right to come all the way to hawthorn to eat with me. So yeah.. now, I took the opportunity of him being free to come and have lunch with me (:

At least I won't be always eating lunches by myself. At least I could say he came to eat with me once? :D

We went for japanese food. Samurai, a small little japanese cafe on glenferrie road that serves pretty decent japanese food in terms of quality and price. I generally enjoy the food there.


Where as I ordered a dinner box that came with a couple of things..,


On a sad note, I received a news today regarding a passing of a high schoolmate. It just doesn't feel right. In fact, it feels rather weird and so sad. Although I've never really took the time to know him, but the fact is we were once in the same class. And now knowing that this person who once had walk into my life regardless of how insignificant he was at that time, his passing would still make an impact to people. To me, I feel nothing but sadness and regret on how I used to shallowly judged him for the way he acted before. Now, he is merely going to be a memory to others and never able to serve others in ways that he had planned for his future as a lawyer. Life is a very short road and it is one road that you'll never know what callings are heading your way. Rest in peace, my fellow schoolmate.

Well.. whatever it is, life goes on, and preferably and supposedly to be lived to its fullest.

The weekend starts tomorrow for me. And so, I'll be meeting ferns and cherly for brunch as ferns is heading back to Malaysia tomorrow night already and then I'll be heading over to the bf's for the weekend.

Hey!

Okay.. I procrastinate too much. The fact is I have all this pictures sitting in my lappie but yet I just haven't sort things out. I haven't even sort out my luggage which is still lying on the floor. What I do everyday? Let's see.. I go to uni for lectures as tutorials and labs aren't running yet then I come home, blast as much fan as I can get as the weather has been horrendous and then I just consume myself in shows and sweat and rashes and then the day goes by and a somewhat similar routine starts again the next day.

I am sure to get to it sometime soon but am just not feeling the kick yet. Slowly.. I'll have it up one by one (: Soon? =X

Uni has been pretty dull. The iPad happens to be my saviour and gets me through the yawns of morning lecture. And also did some amendment to my enrolment and looks like I am picking up a new language this semester! I am stoked!

Like.. I've always wanted to pick up a new language and it has always been Spanish for some reason(maybe it is under the influence of Spanish football players XD) but.. my uni don't offer spanish so I went for the next thing that I was sort of keen of, Italian! I had to... I am going to live my Italian holiday dream someday.. There are korean and japanese and chinese but maybe I'll venture to one more of it next year since I am still gonna be left with one more elective (:

Feels like the days have been passing slow altho it is entering Thursday already but it just feels long till Friday and Friday is when I get to see the bf! My neck is getting long(and rashes-y.. thanks to the heat!) while waiting for the days to pass.. Just feels long.. All I have it pictures of him and us up on my wall and also occasional skype calls that lasts for 3 hours.

Maybe it is because uni hasn't been busy and I have been having all these spare time, it just makes me miss him and miss home and the things I could and would be doing if I were still home. Not really homesick or anything, just that I miss the lifestyle I was having back at home. Just for pure holidays and fun. Instead of now.. lots of free time but not really free time because uni has already started.

I am really looking forward to my weekends. And for this semester, weekends starts on Friday for me (: Only have 4 days of classes per week which is pretty good! Altho certain days I do go on all the way till 530 and 630pm. But I guess having an extra day of weekend sounds way better! :D

So far the week has been slow and hot. Consistent heat for the whole week. Fluctuating about plus minus one to two degrees from 30 for the whole week. So far the iPhone's weather forecast says that it'll be till Monday. I really hope not.. I wanted to be back to the cold not the heat... the heat here is unbearable without an aircond... )): Even the current 26 degrees of stale air and no cold wind whatsoever is frustrating me..!

Hmmm.. next update will probably be about the weekend (: For now.., that is all I am looking forward to. Another happy thought, mum got her US visa approved for 10 years which means.... US trip for me in these period babeh! Well.. wherever the mum goes, the daughter goes too. IF possible! :D Feels cooler when I imagine happy things (((:

I guess that's it for now. Moving on to TVB series and Once Upon a Time. I am running out of shows to watch. I am updated to all the current episodes for my favourite series already...

Hellos!

So I've been saying how much I wanted to clear up my pending posts right.. but I think I should get on with what I've been up to for the past week since I got back first as things are still fresh in mind. Then maybe after that we will talk about CNY celebrations and omg how much I have been eating in Malaysia and also some short update on some gathering with the close friends as I doubt I will have much to update about on uni anyways. All I am looking forward to is the weekends as that will be when I really live my week.

So... the past week?

I would say that it went by very quick and it was merely involving lots of sleep and alone time with the boyfie and some hang outs with some pretty nice food (:

Wednesday was all ALL about sleeping and a whole day of hiding inside MA till about dinner time where ferns, jia shen, wei jun dropped by MA which then resulted to dinner adding me, teck wei and khai shien at the kebab place in clayton town. And so, we took the opportunity of dinner to be updated with some up to date events. I must say altho I saw it coming, I didn't really see it coming in that way tho..

Thursday, went down to the city to have lunch with jia shen, ferns and teck wei after my visit to uni with the bf. Was suppose to settle some things but ended up still unsolved.


Then was to Lygon Street for lunch.


After lunch was some drink time in Starbucks which wei jun joined till maybe late evening? And then we ciaoed for home. And of course spent my other time after that just staying in with the boyfriend and called it a night pretty early.

Friday, brunch plans with cherly and fernie (: I kept thinking of Hardware Societe since I got back and so of course I HAD to go there and the other two has absolutely no preference at all.. so hardware societe it is!

Generally all the food was really nice (: It has only failed to impress me once because they change their menus every 3 months and it was just that one time that I was totally put off by my scallops dish. I have always been a fan and I always order their scallops! I could never say no to yummy juicy scallops eventho it is at a price of $18 (but honestly I do find the price to be pretty worth it :X).

Then it was to St. Kilda Beach for some touristy walking. Well... fernie is a tourist and altho he has been but I still prefer to call it touristy walking (:


Cherly went home after our outing where as me and fernie stayed because we were having dinner plans with jia shen, khai shien, teck wei and wei jun. And we were having gambling plans after dinner (:

Dinner was at rose garden with the boys and it wasn't exactly a picture taking environment because six of us was cramping in a table for 4 and we were all too hungry for even stopping for pictures. And anyways... I have quite a couple of food pictures from rose garden and honestly I don't deviate much from what I've ordered before. HAHA!

After dinner the five of us, minus wei jun, went to hang at Flagstaff Gardens. And was in a possum awwing moment. Altho I was somewhat terrified by the possumS and mind I add again, it is plural! There were sooooo many! And the boys found it to be "aww... so cute!" while I went all feet off the ground and clinching tightly onto the bf..


I don't really know most of them so I was pretty mellowed down on the fun. And the only other person I would have known from the bball group other than raymond is Wei Nian who came like so much later and we left 10 minutes after that because we were in a hurry to catch the train home in order to catch the last bus back. So yeah.. it was fun but not that fun? Hmm.. but I still did win like $1.50? HAHA!

Went back to Clayton with teck wei, khai shien and wei jun. And wei jun came by to game with the boyfie till about 3 ish in the morning? I was soundly asleep by then. HEHE

Saturday was another day of total lazing around and ordering 3 large pizzas from Dominos for the two of us for dinner. And then it was movie marathon. LOVE my movie marathons with the boyfie! <3

Sunday, headed to Carnegie for late lunch with jia shen and ferns. The boyfriend was still very much asleep and refused to come along with. So yeah.. Said my goodbyes to a half asleep boy which is likely to not remember anything. And I was abit sad lo... Been seeing him for everyday in the past month and now I am back to usual routines of only seeing him on weekends because I have to go back to classes on weekdays.. ): SO NOT FUN! I really wished there isn't a need to say goodbye to him and just keep him by my side EVERY day and night.. hmmmm

Anyways... Back to our late lunch. It was @ Huff Bagelry in Carnegie!


And the boys ordered one bagel each as well until.... we were all still hungry after our ONE bagel, we decided to order another two more to share! Best decision ever! Cause.... I got to try the other bagels! They all sounded so tempting up on the menu.. :DDD Happiness!


I was so pleased with all of them! They were really really good! I can see myself coming in again a few more times for these! Plus the price was pretty reasonable (:

Called it a day after that and headed home. To my own room and to sleeping alone hugging my bolster ): Yes... I am very attached to the boyfie.. I know.

And today? Uni's first day. That's all there is to say about today. Nothing spectacular and nothing worth documenting.

That's pretty much it! A not too bad first week back in Melbourne!
